Am I eligible for the Motability Scheme?
Anyone with a higher rate mobility allowance and at least 12 months' award left is eligible — that includes the Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP), the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA), the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS) and the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP). You use your allowance to cover the monthly rentals over three years, with just an Advance Payment to make.
