PCP (Personal Contract Purchase)
PCP keeps your options open. You choose a deposit (from 0% up to 35% of the vehicle price) and the mileage you expect to cover. At the end of the agreement you can part-exchange for a new Changan, keep the car by paying the optional final (balloon) payment, or return it subject to condition and the agreed mileage.
PCH (Personal Contract Hire)
PCH lets you drive a brand-new Changan without committing to ownership. You pay a minimum of one month's rental upfront, then fixed monthly payments, and simply hand the car back at the end of the agreement subject to its condition. There is no option to buy. You can start a new contract on a new model instead.
HP (Hire Purchase)
HP is for when you want to own the car. You put down a deposit, then pay the remaining cost in fixed monthly instalments. There is no mileage limit and no balloon payment. Once the last payment is made, the vehicle is yours.

- What is vehicle finance?
- Vehicle finance helps you spread the cost of a new Changan over a set number of monthly payments.
- Are there age restrictions when applying for finance?
- You must be at least 18 years old. There is no strict maximum age limit.
- Are my monthly payments fixed?
- Yes. Monthly payments are fixed whether you choose PCP, PCH or HP.
- Are there mileage restrictions?
- For PCP and PCH you agree an annual mileage at the start. If you go over it, an excess-mileage charge may apply. HP has no mileage restrictions.
- Can I change my car before the agreement ends?
- PCP and HP usually allow you to settle the agreement early, though early-settlement charges may apply. PCH is designed to run the full term.
- How much deposit will I need?
- On PCP there is no minimum deposit, and the maximum is 35% of the vehicle price. On PCH you need to pay at least one month's payment upfront.
